Welcome to Carland Solutions, your trusted partner for buying used cars and importing cars in Portugal. Our company originated from a personal experience and has developed into a full service solution for Dutch, Belgian, German and Portuguese living in Portugal.

How it all started

After having a successful business in the Netherlands for 12 years, I emigrated to sunny Portugal in 2021 as a born and raised Dutch citizen. Although I thoroughly enjoyed my new life, I soon discovered the challenges of bringing my own car into Portugal. The complex regulations, technical requirements and various administrative steps made it a time-consuming and confusing process. Still, I was determined to do it right and after a lot of effort and research, I did it.

But I realized I wasn’t the only one facing these obstacles. Many other Dutch people (but also other EU residents) had difficulty importing their vehicles correctly and complying with Portuguese regulations. That’s why I decided to share my experience and help people import their cars smoothly and stress-free.

The founding of Carland Solutions

Carland Solutions was born from this need for help and expertise. We have been officially active as a company since 2023 and offer two core services: the sale of reliable used cars and full support for the import of vehicles to Portugal.

We understand that the process can be overwhelming, especially when dealing with regulations in another country and possibly a language barrier. That is why we offer a complete service, from collecting the necessary documents to arranging technical inspections and handling tax and registration formalities. We take care of everything so that our customers can enjoy their new life in Portugal without having to worry about their mobility.
